We finally spent time to sort out the NAYAK records from both ranches (Leon’s and ours) and created a detailed listing with NAYAK Registration Numbers. This would help our livestock customers to check and see if any of our bloodlines are related to their existing herd.
Yak Herd at Sophie and Jason’s Ranch
Located at Jefferson, CO. Our micro-scale ranch has a yak herd of nine, with one bull, one steer, and seven cows.

Our yak training mentor, Leon Lux’s ranch is located at Hartsel, CO. His foundation herd is mostly unrelated with ours (Sophie and Jason’s ranch), so starting herd pairs are possible and highly recommended.
